Alvaro is the Business Director at Opside, a decentralised ZK-Rollup as a service network, and has spent his last 6 years in the Web3 scene.

Majored in Economics and Finance, Alvaro has developed his career native to the Blockchain Industry, as venture capitalist, consultant and strategist. Previously Head of Strategy and Growth at Nsure Network, one of the first open insurance platforms within the DeFi landscape.
Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavours, he was positioned as Vice President and Managing Director for Europe at JRR Group, a leading Investment firm based out of Shanghai with flagship portfolio investments like Binance & Bitmain.
Despite his entrepreneurial experience, he has served as Strategic Advisor and consulted to various projects and institutions, such as DBS Singapore & former Italian Undersecretary of State for the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, Dr. Michele Geraci.
