Ayumi Ishikawa was born in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, and graduated from Nagoya University. She then worked for a telecommunications company and a publishing IT company before joining Tokyu Corporation in 2008. She was involved in formulating strategies to strengthen the customer base of the Tokyu Group, building a digital platform, and designing a common point system, before joining the Retail Business Department to formulate the retail business strategy and EC/OMO strategy for the Tokyu Group. She was appointed President of SHIBUYA109 Entertainment in April 2021.
