Craig Allen is the Chief Strategy Officer of Arrivant—a community publisher focused on creating social games and experiences helping people make new friends.
Mr. Allen began his career at Disney Interactive in the early 1990s producing and overseeing global gaming efforts including such projects as Toy Story, Hercules, and Kingdom Hearts. Following Disney, Mr. Allen was the GM and SVP of Jim Henson Interactive prior to becoming the Cofounder and CEO of Spark Unlimited, the studio most known for developing the first Call of Duty game for consoles.
More recently, as Chief Creative Officer for Embodied, Mr. Allen oversaw the creative development of Moxie—an ambitious robotics project involving NLP-based conversational design, AI, world building, and daily programming, along with the creation of unique tools and systems to support real-time multimodal interactions with therapeutic benefit. Moxie was released in March of 2021 and hailed by Wired as “the robot pal of your dreams” while being recognized as one of the best inventions of 2020 by Time Magazine.
Today, Mr. Allen is very excited about Social Play+ and the new ways game creators will be able to collaborate and reward player communities beyond gaming.
