After working in fund management at domestic and foreign financial institutions, Kenji Hoki joined the Financial Services Agency (FSA) in 2003. He joined KPMG AZSA & Co. in 2014, and is responsible for Fintech/Web 3.0 advisory services, including cryptography, financial services intermediation, and electronic payment agency services, as well as Web 3.0 advisory services including ST, SC, and DAOs. He has also contributed to the development of the industry as an administrative member of the QUICK Virtual Currency Benchmarking Study Group and as an advisor to the Japan Cryptoasset Business Association, chairman of both the Use Case Committee and Custody Committee.
