Naoto Hirata joined TEPCO PG in 2004. He was mainly engaged in planning and promotion in the planning and engineering departments. Most recently, he has been involved in the management of branch offices in response to the Olympic and Paralympic Games and to emergency disasters such as typhoons, before assuming his current position. Now, he is working on creating new businesses and markets, including the effective use of distributed energy resources (DER) and support for new business subsidiaries.
