Norikazu Kuroki
Asset Holdings Co.
President & Representative Director
Norikazu Kuroki is an entrepreneur and golf enthusiast, known for his significant contributions to the golfing industry. In July 1985, he established Gunma Press Country Club Co., Ltd., and by September 1989, he embarked on the course construction, leading to the inception of the Press Country Club.

The full-scale, 18-hole golf course officially opened its doors on May 18, 1993. A decade later, in July 2003, he launched Asset Holdings Co., Ltd. and acquired the golf course, subsequently rebranding the company in December 2007.

Kuroki continued to make bold moves in the industry. On April 1, 2008, he renamed the golf course "Raysum Golf & Spa Resort", and on May 15, 2008, hosted one of Japan's four major tournaments, the 76th Japan Professional Golf Championship.

In December 2018, he further enhanced the golf resort's offerings by establishing a 44-room, Auberge-style hotel. In autumn 2019, he initiated a major renovation project for the course and facilities. By April 1, 2021, the course had been renamed "THE RAYSUM," and a year later, in April 2022, the grand reopening marked the completion of the large-scale renovation.

Kuroki hosted the "For The Players By The Players" event in October 2022. As of May 12, 2023, the golf course has been renamed "THE CLUB golf village," signifying another exciting chapter in Kuroki's golf industry journey.
