Emi Yoshikawa is the VP of Strategy & Operations at Ripple and is responsible for the company's corporate strategy and business operations as well as joint venture partnerships. She is also an adjunct associate professor at Kyoto University's Graduate School of Advanced Integrated Studies in Human Survivability (GSAIS), driving blockchain research collaboration between industry and academia. She also serves as a board member of SBI Remit, the largest remittance company in Japan. Emi brings many years of experience in financial technology and sustainability technology.

Emi was selected among the Most Powerful Women in Bay Area Business by San Francisco Business Times in 2021. Emi holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is also a CFA charterholder.
