Yutaka Soejima is the Principal Research Fellow of SBI Financial and Economic Research Institute, SBI Financial Group since June 2023. He was the Director General of the Institute for Monetary and Economic Studies in the Bank of Japan until May 2023. He joined the Bank in 1990 and worked mainly in markets, banking, payments and analytics.
