He was admitted to the bar in 2012, and was seconded to a trust bank for two years from 2014, where he was engaged in securitization transactions, project finance, etc. For three years from April 2017, he was seconded to the Japanese Financial Services Agency, where he worked on supervising the businesses of crypto assets, digital money and Fintech, as well as on structuring orderly resolution regimes for financial institutions. He has provided advice on advanced structuring based on both financial regulatory law and private law.
Currently, he is a legal advisor to the Stable Coin Subcommittee in the Japan Crypto Asset Business Association, a supervisor to the Fintech Association of Japan, a legal advisor to the Japan Virtual and Crypto assets Exchange Association, and a legal advisor to the Online Factoring Association Japan.
