Yosuke Shiraishi began his career at Internet Initiative, later moving to SBI Group before joining Yahoo Japan Corporation in 2012. At Yahoo, he spearheaded the launch of Y! Mobile, Yahoo! Money, and other initiatives, eventually assuming the role of head of payment products, where he led the launch of PayPay.
Shiraishi later joined De Curret as CTO, launching their digital currency business. In 2020, he became the CEO of Arigato Bank. In addition to this role, he serves as the Director of MZ Cryptos and as an external director of HashPort, working on Web3-related businesses.
Shiraishi is also the Chairman of the Stablecoin Subcommittee of the Japan Cryptoasset Business Association (JCBA), where he makes proposals as an industry association. Additionally, he serves as a Fellow of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, offering advice on ICT policies.
